Central Coast Veterans Home Initiative

The event will have local, State, and Federal elected officials in attendance to show support and speak to the need for an additional CAL VET Veterans Home here in Monterey County. The Veterans who require care at a CAL VET Veterans Home are often met with an up to six-year waitlist before obtaining the care they need. This issue particularly affects those who are elderly, disabled, homeless or require long-term care. As a state, we can do better for our Veterans. We would greatly appreciate attendance from any and all representatives of your organization as we are looking to show support as a Veteran community. The event will be covered by the media and there will be a meet and greet with the elected officials afterwards. If you have any questions, please let me know!
